This is a working flower farm in a living valley. The light and the blooms move with the season, and we plan around them with you.
When the weather shifts, we bring the setting indoors and keep the same atmosphere, or find a date that suits you better. The moment is looked after, whatever the day brings.
The Flower Farm
Access to the flower farm comes with every stay at Villa Minto, yours privately from twilight, 4:30pm.
It is a working farm, and it moves through the year. The rows are at their fullest in late spring and again in late autumn, and the farm stays just as beautiful through the cooler months: a wide, quiet, private space that is yours alone to wander.
The deck, the valley and the golden light carry the moment in any season, so your proposal stands beautifully on its own whatever the time of year. On request, we can light the large custom fire pit set among the flower fields.

Will anyone else be there?
Your proposal is set in a private part of the property, just the two of you and your photographer.
Do we need to book the villa as well?
Yes. Proposals are hosted as part of a stay at Villa Minto. You book your dates at the villa, and the proposal experience is added on top. If you would rather enquire first, we will help you line up dates.
What happens if it rains?
We watch the forecast with you in the lead-up. If the weather turns, we work out the right call together: a sheltered setting or a new date.
How secret can you keep it?
Very. We plan everything quietly over email with you, and keep the setting tucked out of view until the moment is yours to reveal.
